Spider-Man / Deadpool #5

The fifth chapter of "Isn't it Bromantic?" wraps up this unlikely team-up arc with a cover that perfectly captures the duo's off-kilter dynamic: a massive Deadpool fills the foreground with hands clamped over his ears, while Spider-Man floats above him playing a harp, musical notes drifting through the air. Presiding over the whole absurd scene is the series' split emblem — half spider-web, half Deadpool mask — which neatly sums up why this pairing works so well. Ed McGuinness's bold linework brings real energy and charm to every inch of the image, making this a fitting send-off to one of 2016's most entertaining Marvel team-up runs.
