Spider-Man Annual #1977
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1977 annual from World Distributors collects a selection of Spider-Man stories originally published in the UK, featuring the wall-crawler in standalone adventures aimed at younger readers. It includes reprints of classic tales alongside original material, presented in the oversized annual format typical of British comics of the era.
In "The Yesterday Connection!", Spider-Man finds himself pulled into a mysterious temporal trap when DeSinna summons him and the legendary Doc Savage at separate points in time to confront the monstrous Tarros. With no clear way to bridge the gap between their moments, Spider-Man begins to suspect the mission is a ruse—though the truth behind the deception remains just out of reach. Written by Gerry Conway and illustrated by Ross Andru with inks by Mike Esposito, the cover by Ron Wilson and Mike Esposito captures the eerie, time-bending tension of a 60-cent comic from 1976.
