Spider-Man #33

The Punisher has Spider-Man in his sights — twice — on Bob McLeod's striking cover, which poses a tense question right on the image itself: one good Spider-Man and one bad, with Frank Castle squaring up to deal with both, just to be sure. It's a smart, visually arresting setup that captures the uneasy friction between two very different approaches to justice. Part two of "Vengeance" arrives here with Steven Grant writing and McLeod handling both pencils and inks, promising a tightly crafted chapter in this Marvel 1993 adventure.
