Spider-Man #14

Sara Pichelli's cover for "Sitting in a Tree Part 5" gives this 2017 Marvel series one of its most charming images yet — Miles Morales in his black-and-red Spider-Man suit swept up in a romantic mid-air swing alongside Spider-Gwen, her flowing white costume trailing behind them like a dancer's gown, with a top hat dangling playfully from his web. The bold split backdrop — half a pink heart, half Miles's spider-symbol — frames the pair with a knowing wink at the arc's title, and the cover note "Pichelli after Romita" adds a delightful nod to the visual heritage Pichelli is riffing on. Bendis, Pichelli, and colorist Justin Ponsor make this fifth chapter look like essential reading.
