About this Collection

This Dutch-language softcover collects the first six issues of the 2020 Spider-Man series, originally published under the Marvel Knights imprint. It kicks off a new era for Peter Parker with a gritty, street-level tone, featuring classic villains and fresh challenges in a more mature setting.

In "Dood spoor [deel 1]," Peter Parker’s brief reprieve from chaos is shattered when a call about his uncle’s broken gravestone sends him racing through the city. With the Goblin’s shadow still lingering, Peter must protect Aunt May—only to find her vanished after a chilling phone call from an unknown enemy. Written by Mark Millar and illustrated by Terry Dodson, with inks by Rachel Dodson and colors by Avalon’s Ian Hannin, this gripping first chapter sets a tense, personal tone, grounded in family and dread. The cover, by Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson, captures the moment just before everything unravels.
