Spawn: The Undead #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1999 Image series continues to push Spawn's horror sensibility to the edge, and issue #4 of Spawn: The Undead delivers a cover that's genuinely unsettling. Dominating the frame is a grotesque, deeply textured creature — its warped, fleshy face and trailing tendrils filling the composition with menacing detail, rendered with remarkable craft by penciler Dwayne Turner and inker Chance Wolf. Lurking smaller in the lower right, Spawn himself watches from the shadows, his masked face a cool counterpoint to the monstrous presence looming above him.
