Stepping out of the shadows of medieval darkness, Pevvyn made their debut in the very first issue of Spawn: The Dark Ages in 1999, part of Image Comics' bold expansion of the Spawn universe into a grim, atmospheric historical setting. Created by Brian Holguin and Liam McCormack-Sharp, this character inhabits a world populated by compelling figures like Dark Ages Spawn, Baron Rivalen, and the enigmatic Count Alessandro di Cogliostro — a richly textured corner of the Spawn mythology that traded superhero streets for torch-lit castles and feudal intrigue. With only a handful of catalog appearances, Pevvyn is a rare find for the dedicated Spawn completist, a small but genuine piece of one of the late '90s' most atmospheric and underappreciated spinoff series.
