Spawn Godslayer #5
Issue five of Spawn: Godslayer presents a cover by Jay Anacleto that drips with sword-and-sorcery decadence — a crown-wearing, goblet-raising ruler lounges on a throne between two gold-adorned women, radiating the kind of self-satisfied power that rarely ends well. The runic border framing the scene adds an air of ancient menace that feels perfectly at home in this 2007 Image series. With Brian Holguin writing, Philip Tan on art, and a strong inking team backing him up, "Dromo's Tale" looks like another richly crafted chapter in this dark fantasy saga.
