Spawn #316
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe "Chain Gang" arc reaches its conclusion in Spawn #316, and Francesco Mattina's cover makes a striking statement: a golden-armored, featureless-faced figure rises triumphantly, massive black wings spread wide behind him, one hand gripping an enormous ornate scythe while standing atop what appears to be a massive defeated creature below. Ravens circle the scene as light bursts dramatically from behind the figure, lending the whole image a sense of hard-won resolution. Mattina handles every aspect of the cover art himself, and the result is a richly painted composition that captures the mythic, dark-fantasy tone the Spawn series does so well.
