Against a smoldering orange-red backdrop, Spawn looms in dramatic silhouette — twin guns raised and a glowing crimson cross burning at his side, with a thin ribbon of smoke curling upward into the haze. Szymon Kudranski's cover work renders the hellspawn antihero in deeply shadowed, almost sculptural blacks that give the image a gritty, painterly weight.
