Sparky Watts #5
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSparky Watts, resurrected after 147 years, takes on the task of explaining modern inventions and changes to George Washington, who has been brought back to life. The story follows Sparky as he attempts various demonstrations—flying General MacArthur back from Japan with cosmic rays to give him extra strength, getting a haircut from a barber, and encountering a bizarre alien creature with multiple eyes that attacks him. Later, Sparky ventures into a jungle to rescue Professor Hatfield's expedition, discovering a German military camp where the professor and his party are being held prisoner, and he works to liberate them from Colonel Keuger, who has been using the captured group to supply a hidden jungle camp.
When a priceless mummy at the Rex Museum starts mysteriously walking at night, Professor Bigjowl calls on Doctor Static and the super-speedy Sparky Watts to solve the case—especially after the terrified night watchman's sightings lead to a series of daring thefts. Sparky goes undercover as the night guard to catch whoever—or whatever—is behind the hauntings, only to uncover a scheme far more cunning than any ancient curse.
