Sparkler Comics #4

Sparkler Comics #4 is an anthology featuring multiple stories, including "The Case of the Spark Man and the Firefly," "The Captain and the Kids" (in which pygmy soldiers refuse to fight, and King Bombo and the Pygmy King settle their island feud through a boxing match), and a Tarzan adventure. The issue also includes features on Jeanne Turner, who works for the Weather Recording Department, and an article saluting young conductor Lorin Maazel, who at age eleven successfully led an NBC symphony orchestra through Mendelssohn's "Midsummer Night's Dream" overture and Wagner's "Rienzi" from memory.
