This anthology issue contains multiple stories featuring characters from United Feature Syndicate properties. One story involves Becky and Mr. Stone, where romantic complications arise as Becky struggles with her feelings and Slats attempts to help resolve the situation. Another story features Captain and the Kids encountering monkeys and various mishaps on a tropical island, complete with messages in bottles and animal encounters. A third story follows an inventor character named Bombo who creates a malfunctioning rocket-powered vehicle that flies out of control, crashing through fences and causing chaos in the neighborhood before landing among various animals and a confused kangaroo.
