An anthology issue featuring multiple stories: "Hap Hopper: Washington Correspondent" depicts the titular character engaged in military action, releasing a torpedo at a Japanese ship and later swimming to shore where he must recover his hidden costume; "Ella Cinders" follows a girl who borrows a home-recording device and uses it to create a repeating-gun sound effect to scare away burglars; and "El Bombo" tells of Mr. P.T. Biltybux, a wealthy man with millions who suddenly decides he has had enough of life and attempts suicide, leading to a chaotic rescue operation involving doctors and a trot around the bridle path.
