Lady Ryoko is at the bridge of the dreadnaught Kame-1, beset by the forces of Lord Kiyoshi. She attempts to deliver the encryption key to Admiral Niiro for the enemy's military secrets. Before this can happen, the enemy delivers the death blow to the Kame-1, but not before Ryoko sends a telepathic to her daughter, Lady Ch'yoko. Elsewhere, Usagi, Dr. Takenoko, and Tomoe rescue Rhogen from perishing in the gladiator pits, and enlist him in their efforts to stop the Kajitori from cracking the code to the encoded secrets held in the White Star Castle.
