Space Patrol #1 is an anthology featuring four science fiction stories. "The Lady of Diamonds" by B. Kriegstein follows Commander Corry and his cadet Happy as they capture Gorla and take her to the brainograph room to prevent her from cracking under interrogation and revealing a conspiracy to take over the united planets. "Push Button Tyrant" depicts the rise of Chief Crebus, a tyrant on the planet Eursia who uses missile rockets to control peasants in the village of Madag until his secretary Janis and others plot against him. The remaining stories "Outlaws of Vesta" and "Space Pirates" are also by B. Kriegstein but their plots are not visible in the sampled pages.

Mysterious disappearances of tellerium-laden space freighters have Commander Buzz Corry and his Cadet Happy investigating a sinister plot, only to find themselves caught in the grip of a powerful magnetic force pulling their own vessel toward the asteroid Hela. There they discover the mastermind behind the thefts: Dr. Hess, a brilliant scientist coerced by his ruthless wife Margo into weaponizing a super-magnet for interplanetary piracy. With their ship held fast and their lives hanging in the balance, Corry and Happy must find a way to break free and stop the criminals before more freighters fall prey to the outlaw operation.
