With help from the original inhabitants of planet Lacare, who are locked in a fierce struggle against the invaders, the family must outwit the dwarfs’ deadly tactics—especially when the aliens send their captured space station hurtling toward a blazing sun. Tam and Tim play a crucial role in the rescue, and as the Robinsons prepare to continue their journey, the stars ahead hold new mysteries.
In "The Pit of Doom," the Robinsons land on a mysterious cloud-shrouded world in search of fruit, only to discover floating islands of vegetation drifting above the mist. As they explore in their spacemobiles, they encounter chameleon-like super-amoebas and a reclusive, human-like people living among the skyborne jungles.
