Space Family Robinson #6
In "Prehistoric Animals, Number 2: The Teeming Seas," the Space Family Robinson finds themselves entangled in a new interstellar threat after being exiled to an asteroid, where the villain Zurko captures Tim and Tam and creates an army of Tim duplicates to seize control of Zytrox. Written by Del Connell and illustrated by Dan Spiegle, this 1964 Western Comics adventure sees the Robinsons rescue their children and race to Zytrox, where they ally with the planet’s underground resistance. With the help of a surprising weakness—high-frequency sound—the family works to dismantle Zurko’s army, ending their journey with a quiet moment of reflection for Tim. The cover, by George Wilson, captures the eerie tension of the alien seas.
