Space 2063 #1
This volume collects the first part of the German-language adaptation of the 1990s TV series 'Space 2063' (also known as 'Space: Above and Beyond'), published by Egmont Ehapa. It presents the early episodes in comic form, featuring the 58th Squadron's battles against the alien Chigs.
In "Mars, ein Ort zum Sterben," newly minted military trainees grapple with the aftermath of the Vesta and Tellus colony disasters, thrust into a war against the enigmatic Chigs. Assigned to the 58th Squadron—dubbed the Wildcards—they face their first real test, where camaraderie and survival hang in the balance, and one of their own, Pagodin, falls to a sniper’s bullet.
In "Was man auch braucht...", a desperate military gambit hinges on a stolen alien code they believe holds the key to victory—only to find themselves ensnared in a deadly deception. As the line between intelligence and illusion blurs, one soldier must navigate a war where the enemy’s true plan remains just out of reach.
