“Guerre à outrance...”

In "Guerre à outrance...", the Widow finds herself hunted by the Glaive of Justice as she and Alicia flee through a park—only to crash into the mysterious creature known as "the Thing." Captured and taken to a floating platform over the ocean, she learns the terrorists are led by a man from her past. As the Thing struggles to pull a nuclear bomb from the ocean floor, the Widow fights Agamemnon and his followers, racing against time to prevent catastrophe. Written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Bob Brown, with inks and colors by Klaus Janson, this 1977 issue features a striking cover by Jean Frisano.
