Sonic the Hedgehog #9
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeIssue #9 of IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog presents a genuinely striking cover: a massive, armored figure dominates the foreground, its glowing red eyes and sharp metallic claws framing a reflected vision of Sonic and Knuckles poised back-to-back within its visor. The composition — penciled by Lamar Wells and inked by Adam Bryce Thomas — does a wonderful job conveying scale and tension, with the towering threat feeling almost inescapable. With Ian Flynn writing, Tracy Yardley on art, and Matt Herms on colors, this 2018 series was already hitting a confident stride by its ninth chapter.
