Sonic the Hedgehog #80

Sonic the Hedgehog #80 from IDW arrives in 2025 with a rain-soaked jungle cover that puts Sonic front and center alongside Shadow the Hedgehog, both bracing against a looming, glowing-eyed Badnik mech while additional allies — including what appear to be Espio and a couple of other familiar faces — scramble through the canopy behind them. Aaron Hammerstrom's pencils and inks pack the composition with genuine urgency, the downpour and dense foliage lending the whole scene a tense, atmospheric weight. With Ian Flynn at the helm on writing duties, this issue looks like another strong chapter in IDW's ongoing Sonic saga.
