Amy Rose and Knuckles take center stage on this sunny, action-packed cover, with Amy surfing atop a giant blue-and-gold ball and Knuckles leaping confidently overhead, fist raised and grinning. A small blue bird perches on a signpost in the background, while a bright, floating-platform landscape stretches out behind them — all rendered with cheerful energy by cover artist Abby Bulmer. IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog series was firing on all cylinders in 2023, and this issue, written by Ian Flynn with interior art by Thomas Rothlisberger and colors by Leonardo Ito, looks like a thoroughly fun ride.
