Sonic the Hedgehog #42

A pale, wide-eyed figure dominates this unsettling Cover A for issue #42 of IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog, their glassy pink eyes and sharp grin framed by a swirling, prismatic haze — surrounded by looming, shadowy forms pressing in from every side. The moody, jewel-toned composition by cover artist Priscilla Tramontano gives "Zeti Hunt, Part 2" a distinctly tense atmosphere, hinting at something caught between spectacle and threat. With Flynn, Yardley, Froese, and Herms on the interior, this 2021 installment looks like a compelling chapter in what's shaping up to be a gripping arc.
