The second chapter of this 2009 seven-issue DC miniseries announces its main event right on the cover: Solomon Grundy and Bizarro locked in a bone-crunching, debris-flying confrontation against a blood-red sky, their monstrous faces pressed terrifyingly close amid a shower of shattered rock. Scott Kolins handles both the writing and art here, and his linework gives these two hulking figures a raw, almost feral energy that suits the "Christened on Tuesday" story perfectly. If you enjoy watching two of DC's most unpredictable powerhouses go head-to-head, this issue looks like a genuinely wild ride.
