Solo #4
The four-issue Solo miniseries reaches its conclusion with this December 1994 Marvel release, promising "The Final Showdown" and — as the cover boldly declares — an ending you'd never expect. Ron Randall and Sam de la Rosa fill the cover with an intense close-up of Solo himself, green-masked and red-haired, his gloved hand raised against a shadowy doorway in a moment of coiled, deliberate tension. Writer Eric Fein brings "Blood of the Hunted" to its finish here, and that cover face — calm, focused, and utterly unreadable — suggests the stakes couldn't be higher.
