This issue contains two stories: a combat narrative featuring pilot Magraw, who becomes blinded during an aerial engagement over Korean territory but continues flying with guidance from his squadron mate Starke, executing dangerous maneuvers to evade enemy fighters and eventually making a successful crash landing. The second story, "The Little Snoozer," depicts a chronically exhausted soldier named Lamson whose commanding officers attempt various schemes to wake him up and keep him alert, culminating in efforts to have him fired from his position.
