Smörbukk [Smørbukk] #1969
"Revejakten" kicks off in a delightfully chaotic slice of Norwegian small-town life, where Smørbukk’s well-intentioned trip to pick up some chicken chicks goes hilariously wrong—leading to a very uninvited guest in the henhouse. With a mix of slapstick mischief and charming rural wit, the story follows Smørbukk as he tries to outwit a prankish mob of village kids, disguising himself in a scarecrow costume to stay one step ahead. Written by Johannes Farestveit and brought to life with warm, expressive art by Solveig Muren Sanden—both on interior and cover—this 1969 issue captures a uniquely Nordic brand of humor, all in a 2,50 NOK package.
