Few covers capture a world gone gloriously wrong quite like this one — a broad-shouldered man in green armor rides atop an enormous butterfly-moth hybrid, baton raised, its massive compound eyes and spindly legs filling the foreground against a dreamy pink-and-purple sky. It's a stunning image from the creative team of Henderson, Garbett, Fabela, and Bowland, conveying both the strangeness and the unexpected grandeur of Skyward's low-gravity world. Issue #7 of this Image series is a reminder that 2018 was a great time to be reading something genuinely different.
