The cover of Skyward #4 says everything you need to know about this series' delightful premise: a young woman in a white hoodie and bright sneakers floats effortlessly above a yellow VW bus, tethered by straps in a world where gravity has clearly stopped playing by the rules. Garbett's art captures her with a relaxed, almost playful confidence — she's clearly made peace with a sky that's become everyday life. As Jock put it right on the cover, it's "such a cool concept, executed brilliantly," and four issues in, the Henderson-led creative team shows no signs of letting the momentum drift away.
