Sky Sheriff Breeze Lawson, first deputy of the state air patrol, makes his official inaugural flight over state county on his new prowl-plane. When Lawson spots a ray-infested lagoon where a diver has become trapped, he springs into action to rescue the man and apprehend the criminals responsible for shooting down a plane in the area. Back at patrol headquarters, Lawson's colleague Tennyson teases him about his new assignment, and the issue concludes with Lawson visiting a plastic surgeon's office, where he encounters a woman named Miss Cody who is waiting for an appointment and claims she won't follow the doctor's final orders.
