Skullkickers #28

Part four of "A Dozen Cousins and a Crumpled Crown" arrives with a cover that practically leaps off the shelf — two fur-clad, barrel-chested brawlers charge forward through a snowstorm, one brandishing a massive wooden mallet and the other a pair of blades, both roaring with wild-eyed intensity. Jim Zub, Edwin Huang, and Misty Coats bring their signature blend of action and attitude to this 2014 Image Comics series, and the wintry chaos on display here promises the kind of over-the-top mercenary mayhem Skullkickers does so well. If you've been following this arc, issue #28 looks like a thoroughly satisfying escalation of whatever trouble these two have gotten themselves into.
