Skullkickers #12 promises "Four More Tavern Tales," and the cover sets the tone perfectly — a massive, bald brawler locks arms with a wild-maned dwarf in a fierce arm-wrestling match, beer mugs in hand, while a packed crowd of onlookers (including what appears to be an orc) roars from the balconies above. It's a rowdy, ale-soaked snapshot of everything this Image series does best: sword-and-sorcery adventure wrapped in gleeful, pub-crawling chaos. If you enjoy your fantasy loud and your humor brawny, this 2011 issue looks like a fine round.
