This first volume of the irreverent fantasy series Skullkickers collects the initial story arc, introducing a pair of unnamed mercenaries—a hulking brute and a sharp-eyed dwarf—who brawl through a chaotic city in search of treasure and a mysterious corpse. Written by Jim Zub with artwork by Edwin Huang and Misty Coats, the book blends over-the-top action, dark humor, and a satirical take on classic dungeon-crawling tropes, all set in a world where violence is the primary currency. The collection includes issues #1–5 of the original 2011 Image Comics series.
