“Död kom vandra med mig”

"Död kom vandra med mig" is a chilling tale from Skräckmagasinet #6/1974, where Agnes, transformed into a wooden statue, gains supernatural powers tied to her sculpture’s safety. Written by George Kashdan and illustrated by Dick Dillin with inks by Frank Giacoia, the story follows her tragic descent when her lover steals the statuette and takes it to sea—only for the vessel to sink and Agnes to perish as the sculpture vanishes beneath the waves. The haunting cover, a striking piece by MW Kaluta, captures the eerie mood of the tale.
