Sjef van Oekel #3

The third installment of Theo van den Boogaard's Dutch comic series brings more of the deadpan misadventures of Sjef van Oekel, the wonderfully hapless everyman who became a beloved fixture of 1985 Netherlands comics culture. Van den Boogaard handles both pencils and inks on the cover himself, delivering the kind of dry, expressive cartooning that made this series a favorite. With interior colors by France Ferrari rounding out the package, this is a solid entry in one of the more charming homegrown series Oberon published.
