Believing that his friend and partner, Ramone Dexter, had been killed a year ago, Finnigan Sinister finds that he has actually been kept in a maximum-security prison in Downlode City. To help Dexter escape, Sinister gets himself arrested and sent to the prison pending trial. When he learns that the trial date has been delayed, Sinister takes his lawyer's advice and gets himself transferred to the prison infirmary to avoid being targeted by other prisoners. There, he finds that Dexter is a quadriplegic due to a gunshot injury and wants Sinister to kill him - but how can he kill his own friend?
