Simpsons Comics #100
In "Clip Clip Hooray!", Bart and Lisa stumble upon a comic book featuring their lives—specifically, Simpsons Comics #100—leading to a meta-moment where they realize they’re part of a series. As Homer reads his own adventures in the first issue, the whole town grapples with the absurdity of being fictionalized, with only Comic Book Guy offering cryptic clues. The story unfolds with playful parodies of Hercules, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and Jabberwocky, alongside cameos from KrustyCO ads and a wild trip to Springfield Comic-Con, all wrapped in the vibrant art of Phil Ortiz, Jason Ho, and Sergio Aragones, with colors by Art Villanueva, Nathan Kane, and Chris Ungar, and letters by Karen Bates and Chris Ungar. The cover, by Jason Ho, captures the chaos in bold, energetic lines.
