The Dickie Dean story shows the boy inventor creating a peace machine that broadcasts a message ending war, with soldiers returning home and mothers rejoicing at their sons' safe return, followed by Dickie's uncle visiting to congratulate him on his success and inform him of another secret invention in the works. The Silver Streak story depicts the hero in a western setting confronting an outlaw named Hawk who takes Marie and her father hostage, leading to action sequences where Silver Streak battles Hawk and his gang. Additional features include Sky Wolf and other hero characters in various adventure scenarios depicted across the issue's pages.
Hawk Wilson and his gang plan to rob a train, but when the wreck occurs, they're ambushed by Bill Wayne, the Texas Terror, who arrives just in time to stop them. After a fierce fight, Wayne captures the outlaws, only to find himself in a new danger when Hawk returns with a hostage. The story follows Wayne as he races to protect a young woman and her father from the gang’s final scheme, all while the trail of gold and danger leads deeper into the wild frontier.
In "The Lizard Men," Lance ventures into the mine left to him by his uncle, only to be taken by ancient cave dwellers. When their queen enlists him to help defend her people from a threat of monstrous lizard men, Lance finds himself drawn into a battle far beyond anything he expected.
In a quiet moment of invention, Dickie and his friend Zip Todd test a mysterious device that alters the air’s density, turning it thick enough to halt flying machines mid-flight. When they take the machine to a war-torn battlefield, its power stops all aircraft and projectiles in their tracks, leaving soldiers from both sides stunned and confused. As the miracle unfolds, the two friends realize their invention could finally bring peace—but not without the world taking notice.
In the 1940 detective-mystery tale "The Panther," ace investigator Ace Powers takes on a string of brutal crimes linked by a mysterious assailant known only as the Panther, whose signature is a claw mark left at each scene. As Ace follows the trail from a bank robbery to a jewelry store murder, he tracks the elusive killer to a burning asylum hideout, leading to a dramatic showdown atop a collapsing building.
In "The Comet Menace," Ken Keen of the Planet Patrol battles a mysterious comet threat, using magnetic forces to immobilize metallic alien robots before unleashing a powerful X-ray beam to destroy their lair. With the comet's danger neutralized, Ken is commended for his victory—only to be handed a new mission, setting him on another path of peril and action.
In the midst of a desperate aerial battle, the masked Sky Wolf intercepts enemy plans and infiltrates a German encampment to steal critical intelligence, outmaneuvering enemy officers and sabotaging their communications. As he races to thwart a major enemy advance, the Sky Wolf faces off against the cunning Baron Kraft in a final, brutal clash high above the battlefield.
