Bashir loses his legs in a bomb blast that kills his cousin. Blind Tarek offers to make him a wheelchair, and Bashir discovers him manipulating metal mentally. When gang members shoot Tarek for refusing to make weapons, before his death he passes to Bashir the Crown of Zenobia with its power of metal control. Creating the guise of the Silver Scorpion he takes vengeance on the gang, and commits to protect the innocent people of the city from criminals.
