Sidekick #6

J. Michael Straczynski's Sidekick reaches its sixth issue with a cover by Tom Mandrake that radiates urgency — a dark-suited hero in a blue-black costume is caught mid-air, arms thrown wide, surrounded by razor-sharp bladed weapons converging on him from every direction while a sleek aircraft looms overhead and a gold-costumed figure falls away below. HiFi's electric green and yellow energy burst behind the scene gives the whole composition a visceral, kinetic charge. With a story titled "Now We Get Serious," this Image/Joe's Comics chapter looks like it means exactly that.
