Shutter #28 brings Joe Keatinge and Leila del Duca's adventurous Image series to its penultimate chapter, and del Duca's cover art captures the sprawling cast beautifully — Kate Kristopher dominates the center with her signature undercut and goggles, surrounded by a constellation of companions and siblings rendered in warm, painterly tones against a starlit sky. In the foreground, two smaller figures — one in a white outfit brandishing a weapon, another in a duster and hat — stand ready against a swirl of red and blue, hinting at the high-stakes energy building toward the finale. Owen Gieni's rich coloring gives the whole composition a cinematic warmth that makes this 2017 series feel thoroughly alive right to the end.
