Shutter #19 brings Joe Keatinge and Leila del Duca's wildly imaginative series to a vivid new chapter with "Toy Soldiers." Del Duca's cover is a striking triptych: a blue-tinged figure gazes at fantastical dinosaur-like creatures in the top panel, a mysterious yellow-hooded figure with a camera-lens face emerges from geometric shapes in the middle, and a sharp-eyed woman wreathed in magenta tendrils commands the bottom. Owen Gieni's bold color choices — cool blue, warm gold, and deep violet-pink — give each panel its own mood while uniting them into one compelling piece that perfectly captures this series' knack for the strange and beautiful.
