☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeShowcase Presents: Eclipso collects the early adventures of the dark DC antihero, originally presented in black-and-white. This volume reprints the character's debut and subsequent appearances, exploring the duality of a man who becomes a vengeful entity when the sun goes down. It's a comprehensive look at the Golden Age and Silver Age stories that established Eclipso as a conflicted figure of both heroism and villainy.
In "The Genius Who Fought Himself," a 2009 Showcase Presents: Eclipso issue written by Bob Haney and illustrated by Alex Toth, Bruce Gordon’s secret is laid bare when his girlfriend Mona uncovers the truth about his dual identity. With the help of an old friend, Judson Randall, Bruce attempts to reclaim control—only to find that the entity he’s been fighting may now be fighting back in a way he never expected. The cover by Dick Dillin and Sheldon Moldoff captures the eerie tension of a mind at war with itself.
