Showcase '93 #11

Part of DC's ambitious 1993 anthology series, Showcase '93 #11 spotlights "Raptors" — a Nightwing and Robin story subtitled "The Kobra Kronicles" — with a cover by George Pérez that crackles with kinetic energy. Pérez fills every inch of the image with heroes in mid-flight: Nightwing soaring front and center with wings spread, Robin diving in from above, Wonder Woman wielding her lasso, Hawkman powering through the fray, and a host of armed adversaries on the rooftops below, all caught in a blaze of energy blasts and gunfire. It's a dense, thrilling composition that makes a strong case for picking up this eleventh chapter in the twelve-part run.
