The cover story, "Dead Man's Revenge!!", involves a scientist who uses electrodes to stimulate a dead man's pituitary glands, causing the corpse to grow to monstrous proportions as part of an act of vengeance. Another story features Detective Holmes investigating a scheme at a sprawling castle hotel where wealthy guests are lured into investing money with criminals; Holmes becomes trapped in underground lime pits but ultimately exposes the criminal operation. The issue also includes advertisements and filler content typical of 1950s comic publications.
Anthony Marino and his associates, desperate for easy money, devise a scheme to collect insurance by arranging the "accidental" deaths of lonely, forgotten people—starting with Mabelle Carlson, a woman with no friends or family. When their plan fails to kill her, they shift their focus to Mike Malloy, a homeless man they believe is an easy target, only to find he refuses to stay dead, no matter how many times they try.
Harry Holmes, a charming but deceitful druggist, manipulates his employees and builds a sinister empire beneath the guise of a legitimate business, while quietly eliminating anyone who threatens to expose him. As his web of lies expands, a series of suspicious deaths and disappearances begin to pile up, with Julia Connors and Mrs. Pitzel caught in the crosshairs of his escalating madness.
In a gritty New York tavern, the disgraced scientist Professor Reardon confesses to gangster Nick Ramono that his failed experiment to create life from stolen body parts has unleashed a monstrous being. As the creature, born from his unethical work, seeks revenge on Ramono, a young assistant named Peter Dike emerges from the wreckage, determined to stop the monster before it kills again.
