Sherlock Holmes: Moriarty Lives #3

The cover of this Dynamite Entertainment issue says it all — a shadowy, hat-brimmed figure peers through ornate wrought-iron gates with unsettling golden eyes, his grip tight on the ironwork as tiny spatters of crimson dot the background. It's a beautifully menacing image that captures the Napoleon of Crime at his most calculating and predatory. Issue #3 of this 2014 miniseries promises a Moriarty-centric story told with genuine atmosphere and dread.
