Shadowland: Power Man #3
In "La Casa De Los Santos," Power Man’s past unfolds as his father, Shades, is revealed to have worn special glasses crafted by Nightshade to harness ambient energy. When Bullseye destroys their home, the device channels that power into Victor, imprinting him with martial arts knowledge from one of Iron Fist’s former pupils. Now, Iron Fist arrives to aid Power Man—but Nightshade offers her help only if he defeats the Fist in combat. Written by Fred Van Lente and illustrated by Mahmud Asrar, with inks by Scott Hanna, colors by Bruno Hang, and letters by Dave Sharpe, the issue’s cover by Mike Perkins captures the tension of this pivotal moment.
