“Eclipsed”

Part of the 2010 Shadowland crossover event, this second installment titled "Eclipsed" presents a striking Francesco Mattina cover that places a battle-worn Moon Knight front and center — his white costume darkened and tattered, glowing red eyes cutting through the stormy atmosphere. Looming behind him is the enormous spectral visage of Khonshu, the Egyptian moon god, rendered as an imposing cobra-headed figure that dominates the night sky. Writer Gregg Hurwitz and artist Bong Dazo bring this moody, tension-filled chapter to life, and the cover alone signals that Moon Knight's loyalties and sanity are very much under siege.
