In "With Friends Like These...", Jim Valentino delivers a tense, character-driven chapter of Shadowhawk Volume Three as the vigilante leads the Regulators through the city's treacherous sewers in a desperate bid to rescue Vortex's abducted son. With the shocking reveal that the mysterious Underlord is the seemingly dead alien villain Liquifier, Shadowhawk must navigate uneasy alliances and past betrayals to stop a deadly threat. The story unfolds with sharp pacing and emotional weight, illustrated with bold, dynamic art by Valentino and inks by Chance Wolf and Brad W.
